Can judgment help us grow spiritually?
Your Soul's Plan Chapter 5 judgment Week 14 Saturday Morning Mastermind
This week on the Saturday Morning Mastermind, we continued talking about the book Your Soul's Plan by Rober Schwartz. In chapter five Robert discusses drug abuse and the family members of addicts. Everyone experiences some amount of judgment by others throughout life but addicts tend to be judged more harshly. So why would someone purposely want to experience the life of an addict? According to Robert in his search for deeper meaning and his conversations with higher souls, spirit guides, and the souls of people he interviews, there is profound opportunity for spiritual growth through experiencing judgment. "All judgment of others is cloaked in self-judgment. Profound spiritual growth occurs when we bravely pull that cloak away and acknowledge how we feel about ourselves" In this book it is suggested that some souls who choose to be an addict actually do so for the benefit of those around them. From the soul perspective, they are providing an opportunity for others on the earth plain to overcome judgment and instead experience empathy, recognize how they judge themselves, and give unconditional love.
